Colville Babb was born January 2, 18151, in Laurens County, South Carolina to Kellett and Rebecca (Abercrombie) Babb2. He died August 16, 1888, and is buried in the Abercrombie-Babb-Conkle-Wallace Family Cemetery in Henry County, Georgia.

Colville married Aleavia Bradberry in Henry County, Georgia, January 22, 18372. She was born September 16, 18223, in Georgia4, to Robert and Sarah Bradberry. She died January 12, 1901.

Kellet was said to have been a medic with India Company, 2nd Georgia Infantry.

Thomas and Nancy (Ross) Babb had two daughters6: Mary Jane and Martha Thomas. Nancy married a man named Childers after the War, and subsequently died during childbirth9. The girls returned to live with Colville and Levy until their marriages.

Martha married Samuel I. Belcher5, a brother of my great-grandmother. Mary Jane married a James Wallace5 of Clayton County.18
