Colville Babb¹ was born January 2, 1815, in Laurens County, South Carolina to Kellett and Rebecca (Abercrombie) Babb². He died August 16, 1888, and is buried in the Abercromie-Babb-Conkle-Wallace Family Cemetery.

Colville married Aleavia Bradberry in Henry County, Georgia, January 22, 1837². She was born September 16, 1822, in Georgia, to Robert and Sarah Bradberry. She died January 12, 1901³.
