Colville

Colville Babb1 was born January 2, 1815, in Laurens County, South Carolina to Kellett and Rebecca (Abercrombie) Babb2. He died August 16, 1888, and is buried in the Abercrombie-Babb-Conkle-Wallace Family Cemetery.

Colville married Aleavia Bradberry in Henry County, Georgia, January 22, 18372. She was born September 16, 1822, in Georgia, to Robert and Sarah Bradberry. She died January 12, 19013.

Thomas and Nancy (Ross) Babb had two daughters: Mary Jane and Martha Thomas. Nancy married a man named Childers after the War, and subsequently died during childbirth. The girls returned to live with Colville and Levy until their marriages.
