Perry Laurence "Pete" Babb1 was born February 16, 1857, in Henry County, Georgia to Colville and Aleavia (Bradberry) Babb2,3. He died March 28, 1916, and is buried in Liberty Hill Baptist cemetery.

Perry married Finton King Belcher1 of Clayton County, Georgia, December 9, 18804. She was born September 18, 1860, to Joseph N. and Martha L.S. Belcher5. King died August 5, 1900.
